Design Inspiration
Inspired by Riize “Hug” and Ive “Rebel Heart”
Heart message is inspired by the 2 songs that were released last year (2025) at around the same time- Riize “hug” single and Ive “Rebel Heart”.
The heart paper message in Riize album art reminds me of the paper messages that were being passed around in class. There was a time when my friends and I were into those kawaii Japanese memo pad that have a lot of cute papers and instructions on how to fold them into cute shapes. Although everything was in Japanese and none of us had a single idea on what those sentences meant, by trial and error, we managed to fold them into cute shapes and wrote encouraging messages to each other before our exam started.
While reminiscing the past, I started to wonder… what if I can come out with a pendant design in such a cute heart paper message shape, with a message that is only just for me, myself.
While thinking and imagining things, the song “Rebel heart” by Ive came on, and I really love the meaning and message behind the song, and that is the moment when everything clicked!
A message to encourage us to not be afraid to be our real self!
Thinking back about the time when I was lost in my life direction and lost my sense of self, this message hits me close to my heart. When I first came across the concept of true self and core self, I have no idea who I am when I’m without my job title etc. What kind of person am I, what am I good in, what are my principles and values etc, these are examples of questions that I couldn’t answer at all at that time.
Styling Idea
Heart message necklace looks best by allowing the pendant to either rest in-between your collar bone, or on top of a shirt. With the extension chain, you can freely adjust the length for the pendant to sit nicely on top of the shirt that you are wearing.
Materials
All Kiraful jewellery are hypoallergenic- free from cadmium, lead and nickel. All design are crafted in solid sterling silver, plated with the desired metal colour, and finish with a layer of E-coating for better tarnish resistance and colour retention.
White topaz stone, a natural stone with a pure and transparent sparkle, are used in all designs in this collection to give them a little sparkle and brilliance.
*Based on the heart message design and photos, it might appear that the pendant is hollow, just an outer shell taking the heart paper message shape. However, the pendant is actually a solid S925 silver pendant, with a small amount of weight.
