Everything starts from love, by starting to love and accept our imperfect true self.
When brainstorming about the theme for the first collection, heart and love came up in my mind, and I think it’s a perfect theme to explore and design as Kiraful’s first collection.
Each collection will be labelled as chapter, just like chapters in a book, while exploring different theme, concepts and messages.
Chapter 1 Core Concept
Do you love and accept your imperfect real self?
For the first chapter, love and heart were chosen as the main theme. It seems to be a a perfect theme to start with, as self love and self acceptance are the first step of becoming more self aware.
When undesired things happen, we tend to hide our true self just so we can please others, or just simply to survive in this world. However, I want to remind you to always choose yourself, to always place yourself as the top priority. This is the first step to loving and accepting who you truly are at the core. This is especially true for people who use people pleasing as a coping mechanism to survive in this world.
Placing yourself as the first priority might feel like a sin to you, like being arrogant or selfish, but in actual fact, it is not. It is more about knowing who you are at the core, and being more self aware of your own boundaries, principles and values, which will act as your guiding light in decisions you made in your life. How much love and acceptance of who you truly are will affect how you show up everyday for yourself.

Collections
There are 2 collections in Chapter 1: 心.
Heart message is inspired by the idea of having a message addressed to yourself, but in a cute shape, like a heart paper message shape. An engraved message “be the real you” can only be seen or read by you, or up close. I hope this design can serve as a reminder for gentle souls out there who are still in the process of finding themselves, that their true self are not too much for this world, but it is exactly what this world needs.
Twinkling heart explore the theme of imperfection through the imperfect heart shape, that we are imperfectly perfect. Parts of you that make you believe that you are flawed or imperfect are exactly the things that makes you uniquely you, the imperfectly perfect you.
Materials
All Kiraful jewellery are hypoallergenic- free from cadmium, lead and nickel. All design are crafted in solid sterling silver, plated with the desired metal colour, and finish with a layer of E-coating for better tarnish resistance and colour retention.
White topaz stone, a natural stone with a pure and transparent sparkle, are used in all designs in this collection to give them a little sparkle and brilliance.
*Based on the heart message design and photos, it might appear that the pendant is hollow, just an outer shell taking the heart paper message shape. However, the pendant is actually a solid S925 silver pendant, with a small amount of weight.
